Vucic congratulates Putin on successful elections to State Duma

MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on the successful elections to the State Duma in a telephone conversation, the press service of the Kremlin reported.

"The Serbian leader congratulated the President of Russia on the successful elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The leaders discussed various aspects of the future development of Russian-Serbian strategic partnership, in particular, in energy, the oil and gas sector, transport and healthcare," the report said.

Vucic spoke about preparations for an early parliamentary election. "Both sides pointed out the unacceptability of external interference in election processes," the press service added.
