Timur Turlov of Kazakhstan elected World Chess Federation president

SAMARKAND, September 26. /TASS/. Kazakhstan’s Timur Turlov has been elected the president of the World Chess Federation (FIDE), a TASS correspondent reported from the FIDE General Assembly taking place in Samarkand.

A total of 110 delegates voted for him.
