South Korea has supporters of normalizing relations with Moscow — Russian MFA

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. There are supporters of normalizing relations between Seoul and Moscow in South Korea, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said in an interview with TASS.

"I am convinced that there are quite a few supporters of normalizing the bilateral political dialogue and restoring trade and economic cooperation with Russia in the Republic of Korea," he said when asked a respective question.

Rudenko added though that relations between the two countries could hardly improve "unless the South Korean authorities refuse to participate in the collective West’s sanctions policy against Russia.".
