Mitch Landrieu on what it would take to run for president

Mitch Landrieu says he is considering a presidential run but would only move forward if he believed he could win, govern effectively and bring the country together.

“I would not run as a vanity project,” the former New Orleans mayor told POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin, arguing that fixing the country will require a bottom-up effort.
