Russia’s Battlegroup West destroys HIMARS rocket, 117 Ukrainian UAVs in past day

MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Over the past 24 hours, units of Russia’s Battlegroup West have shot down a rocket of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), and 117 Ukrainian R-18 heavy combat octocopters in mid-air, the battlegroup’s spokesman Leonid Sharov reported.
"Air defense teams and mobile armed units downed a US-made HIMARS rocket, 53 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, and 117 enemy R-18 heavy combat octocopters," he said.
In addition, 56 UAV control centers, three satellite communication stations, 42 ground robotic systems, and two enemy field ammunition depots were detected and destroyed, Sharov stated.
