Turnout on federal remote electronic voting platform reaches 70%

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. More than 2.8 million people have voted on the federal remote electronic voting platform, with turnout standing at 70% of registered participants as of 6:45 p.m. GMT, the Russian Digital Development Ministry said.

"More than 2.8 million people have already voted on the federal remote electronic voting platform. As of 6:45 p.m. GMT, turnout stood at 70% of registered participants," the ministry said in a statement.

Turnout in the Smolensk and Novgorod Regions stood at 80% as of 6:45 p.m. GMT. They were followed by the Republic of Mari El at 79%, the Kostroma Region at 75% and Chuvashia at 73%.
