CAIRO, September 18. /TASS/. The Egyptian captain of the M/V Noran bulk carrier, docked at a Russian port, was killed in a strike on the vessel, Egypt’s foreign ministry reported.
The ministry is closely monitoring the September 13 incident at a port in southwestern Russia involving a strike on the M/V Noran, which had Egyptian sailors aboard. The captain was killed, and the consular department is handling repatriation of his body. The other eight crew members have returned to Egypt.
