Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket successfully launched from Plesetsk spaceport — Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. The Russian Aerospace Forces have successfully launched the medium-class Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket from the Plesetsk spaceport, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

"A combat crew of Space Troops of the Russian Aerospace Forces has successfully launched a medium-class Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle carrying a spacecraft on behalf of the Russian Defense Ministry from the Defense Ministry’ state test spaceport (Plesetsk spaceport) in the Arkhangelsk Region," the ministry said in a statement.
