WASHINGTON, October 20. /TASS/. The US administration has not approved the delivery of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems to Kiev, The Washington Post reported, citing sources.

According to the sources, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth has yet to approve deliveries of Patriot missiles to Ukraine from other countries. The defense secretary has not blocked the deliveries but has not completed the procedures necessary to approve them either. The munitions are manufactured in the United States and supplied abroad under an agreement requiring Washington’s approval for their transfer to third countries.

Last week, CNN reported that Ukraine had run out of Patriot missiles.
